Yo fellow TriYas-sters, what’s hattnin? hope all is well with y’all. not long to go now until you can start the engines!
During race week, there is not a whole lot more to do really. A bit of training here and there with some race pace simulations over the board, lots of stretching, lots of sleep, stay relaxed, no alcohol, don’t try anything out of the ordinary; just stick with what you usually do and then all will be fine. It’s just triathlon after all, it’s not the end of the world.
Also test out the equipment that you will use on race day to see that everything is on the up and up.
By the way, the event has sold out all of its slots! Thank you to everyone! so all of us can look forward to an exciting race on Friday. It will be quite an experience!
It’s also perfectly normal if you feel jitters and butterflies before the race, that is part of the sport. I feel them already as well and can’t wait until that gun goes off!
Omar Nour, the Egyptian Professional Triathlete and Rio 2016 hopeful, is among the favourites for the 2014 edition of Tri Yas.
I wish everyone a safe, successful and great race and a super experience at the 2014 Tri Yas!
See you there! 🙂 TriYourSelf by Daman ActiveLife 🙂
